Seattle launches pilot program aimed at motivating people to bike or scoot their way to transit stations

Seattle's Department of Transportation (SDOT) just launched a new pilot program aimed at motivating people to bike or scoot their way to transit stations to continue their commutes.

SDOT's Deputy Press Secretary Mariam Ali said those who use transit can now take any bike or scooter share to select transit hubs and save up to $8 on trips, plus discounted trips, free mobile transit tickets, and transit-go reward points that can be used on future trips.

The program will continue through March 31, 2023 (or until funding is exhausted). Program partners include King County Metro, Sound Transit, Bytemark, Ford Smart Mobility, and a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy).
