Interactive Multimodal Resource Map - The ultimate guide for Oakland commuters
This multimodal trip planning resource from Oakland Transportation Management Association is designed to hep commuters Know Before You Go when traveling to and from Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood – through which more than 100,000 pedestrians and 75,000 vehicles travel every day. Use the map to identify the location and get directions to public parking lots and garages (with hours of operation and estimated rates), transit stops, micromobility hubs, bike share stations, bicycle storage racks, and other multimodal transportation resources.
Parking Reservation Service
While we recommend exploring other multimodal options, we understand that some occasions and circumstances will require you to travel into Oakland using a single occupant vehicle, so Oakland TMA is here to help make it easy to find a place to park when you do. Although we encourage you to consider public transit, carpool, vanpool, or other multimodal options as an alternative, OTMA offers parking reservations to anyone in need.
Simply complete our parking reservation form in advance of your visit to ensure you'll have dedicated, reserved parking ready and open upon your arrival.
Parking reservations can be made at the Forbes Semple Garage only – which is located at 410 Meyran Avenue. All you need to do to reserve your spot is complete our Parking Reservation form at least one day prior to your visit to Oakland. OTMA staff will make and confirm each reservation at no cost, however, parking rates are determined by the Pittsburgh Parking Authority and will be the sole responsibility of the participant.
Please Note: The Parking Reservation program is in partnership with the Pittsburgh Parking Authority and reservations are only available Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for the Forbes Semple Garage.
