There are more than 50 'Park & Ride' locations throughout Allegheny County.

Through the Park & Ride system, commuters can connect with bus and light rail service in their area with the added convenience of a place to park their car in designated lots (typically) for free, and then accessing transit routes serviced by Pittsburgh Regional Transit.

When using a Park & Ride lot, commuters are reminded to park only in designated areas. Parking in non-designated areas could result in your vehicle being ticketed and/or towed. And while transit and local police regularyl patrol park and ride lots, Pittsburgh Regional Transit reminds commuters to lock their vehicles and conceal/secure valuables, as well as support any suspicious activity or items to local police by calling 911 (or transit police at 412-255-1385).

Note: Park & Ride Lots are FOR COMMUTER PARKIN ONLY. These lots are not to be used for residential, commercial, overnight, or long-term parking, or for recreational useu (with the exception of some lots which are privately owned/operated; use your discretion.)
